The Dowd Landslide project was an emergency repair of a slope failure on Interstate 70 near Vail, CO. Gould Construction performed excavation and backfill of 4 benches on a steep slope between I-70 and the Eagle River to facilitate the installation of ground anchor walls. After the benches were dug and the anchor walls were in place, Gould Construction restored the scope to its existing grade.
