Peter Ware - Vice President of Project Management
Peter has been in general construction since 1972 and started with
Gould Construction in April 1997, serving as a Project Manager for the company. His principal area of expertise is with the management of
the design and construction of municipal infrastructure, utility systems, excavation and grading for roads, parks, reservoirs, and construction of general subdivision improvements. While working as Public Works Director for Carbondale he was responsible for management of construction, operation and maintenance of the infrastructure including; streets, parks, cemeteries, utilities, and sanitary landfill. His experience with the operational and maintenance aspects of municipal infrastructure gives him excellent insight into many design and engineering aspects of a project. His ability to view a project from an owner and operator’s point of view is a valuable asset to the design and construction of municipal infrastructure.
Other related areas of expertise include quality control planning and monitoring, start up procedures, preparation of O&M manuals, and working with governmental agencies on permitting and review aspects
of a project. As Public Works Director, he gained valuable experience
as a liaison between construction contractors, plant operations personnel, elected officials, and the public. |
